In this project, I was challenged to create an interesting pattern using only type.
These patterns needed to feel unified in a way that they could be viewed as a set.

I decided on using a sans serif font called Nasalization because of its wide and open letter forms that created interesting shapes.designed by Ray Larabie, it also pays homage to the NASA logo and many space missions completed.

Concept
Since fonts are used typically to spell out words and phrases in patterns, I wanted
to have contradicting elements to mine. I decided to use them not for words, but
shapes.

I found that Making animals out of this futuristic font keeps with my concept of contradicting meanings, playing of the space focused NASA font used to make very much earth-bound creatures.
