This client tasked me with establishing a visual identity for a new company called Construction Experts, a company specializing in professional witness services for legal matters regarding construction. This involved crafting a distinctive logo, developing a comprehensive brand guide to ensure consistent visual and messaging elements, and designing engaging print collateral.
Understanding the client
At the beginning of branding projects, I conduct in-depth client consultations to uncover essential brand elements. This includes identifying target audiences, core values, brand personality, competitive landscape, color preferences, and desired brand visibility.

Once I have a basis for what they need, I look to the competitive space. What are competitors doing? What are the commonalities in the industry?

Visual Identity Creation
As with any brand, I start with the logo. I sought to encapsulate the company's core values and services into a singular, professional mark. Understanding that a logo is the final punctuation to a brand's narrative, I iterated and crafted a design that would not only be visually appealing, but also effectively communicate the company's expertise, reliability, trustworthiness and services.

Beyond being visually pleasing, the logo should tell a story. to do this, I combined familiar industry elements to develop a design that not only captures attention from both construction and law industries, but also accurately represents the company's services to its diverse customer base. The color scheme. though requested by the client, was implemented more neutral versions of the colors to keep The voice and language of the brand in the forefront.
Brand Application
Once The logo was established and the brand voice and tone were discovered, I applied those principles to all aspects, including photography, print collateral, web application, and illustrations.

After final approval from the client, they responded that they were very happy with the new branding. I enjoyed this project, as the main puzzle was finding a way to merge two industry ideals (law and construction) into a cohesive, professional, and approachable brand.
